Getting ready:

Artemis, Gaia and Nyx - Goddesses of the hunt, earth and night.
To Brian's credit, he had the best attention to detail I've ever seen for a costume. Mikey is THE Cloud 9 regular, the epitome of all things "hometown bar." He has been the one consistent thing about all my 3 years of hanging out there, and Brian was able to peg him to the smallest quirk.
1. Mikey always drinks tomato juice in his beer. Brian drank that all night.
2. Mikey always wears a black alcohol-related catch phrase tee with a plain ball cap. Brian's shirt said "Dip me in beer and throw me at the drunk chicks."
3. Mikey ALWAYS wears the same pair of 80's throwback high top sneakers. Brian bought a pair from Ross.
The funniest thing was that when Brian asked Mikey to guess what his costume was, Mikey answered "Some kinda drunk redneck?" CLASSIC. The look on his face when he later found out the answer was absolutely priceless - I captured it here:

Brian took 3rd place in the costume contest and won a bottle of Cook's champagne that was large enough to serve an army.
Contest finalists, Nikki (2nd) Audra (1st) and Brian (3rd). Audra takes her strut of glory :)

I was absolutely thrilled with the turnout - it was literally like a high school reunion. Many would consider that a bad thing, but there are certain people I will always look forward to seeing. I figure that many of us will eventually move off to our adult lives, so it's nice to have this last hurrah together :)
Manda and her beau.

Randy, my buddy from my years as a soccer star in middle school :)

Audra, Theresa and Colin, ladies who I marched with in the Scarlet Brigade.

Amada and I. One of my best friends since 4th grade.

And just to make the whole thing entirely bizarre, Santa and Mrs. Claus showed up. Santa's actually an old Vietnam vet so when Brian asked to take funny Christmas pictures (since he's going to be deployed for the holidays) Santa was totally gracious. He even gave us gifts!

All in all an INCREDIBLE night, even if I woke up still slightly drunk and entirely sleep deprived. No rest for the wicked, right? ;)
